Content

Content is a show-and-tell slide. There's nothing to answer. You use it to share a page of information with the room: an agenda, instructions, talking points, a video, or a whole presentation. It's the calm moment between the interactive activities, and the host simply advances past it with the regular Next control.

How players experience it

What players see depends on how you built the slide:

• Text. A heading and a body of formatted text (lists, links, bold) appear on their screen.
• Video. The video sits front and centre with your caption below it. Nothing autoplays; the host or participant taps play, so a room full of phones doesn't blare at once.
• Presentation. Your live Google Slides or PowerPoint deck fills the slide, animations and all.

If a slide has nothing for a participant to read or watch (for example, it's meant for the big shared screen), their phone simply shows "Eyes on the big screen!" and points them there.

Long content scrolls, so nothing gets cut off.

Setting one up as a host

When you add a Content activity you pick a variant from the picker:

• Text. Write an optional heading, then a rich body (headings, lists, links, bold). You can also paste an optional video link (YouTube, Vimeo, or a direct .mp4) that plays below the text.
• Video. Paste a YouTube, Vimeo, or direct video link; the video is the slide, with a short caption underneath.
• Presentation. Paste a Google Slides or PowerPoint share link to embed the live deck so it keeps its own animations. This is a Pro feature.

If you imported a slide from an existing presentation, the rendered picture shows exactly as it came in. You can only edit the heading that labels it, and the artwork stays untouched.

Tips

• Use it to set the scene. A Content slide is perfect for a welcome, an agenda, or instructions before a round.
• Keep text scannable. Short headings and bullet points read far better on a phone than dense paragraphs.
• Add a video to a text slide when you want a clip to accompany your talking points. It plays right below them.

There's no scoring and nothing to submit. Content is simply the part of your Roo where you do the talking.
